Page history last edited by Steve Geiger 7 years, 2 months ago

In die Stadt gehen:

Objectives:

Listening/Speaking/Writing

I can talk about what I want to do at any given time.

I can invite someone to go to the city.

I can respond to an invitation of something I want to do.

I can comment on what others want to do.

I can negotiate a meeting time while making plans.

I can talk about where someone is going and what they'll do when they get there.

I can order basic foods at a café.

I can make a polite request.

Knowledge/ Grammar:

I can talk about basic and more complicated free time activities, such as going to a concert or the theater.

I can say a "clock" time.

I can differentiate between"clock" and "digital" times, and I know which situations are appropriate for each of them.

I can turn a time into a time phrase in three different ways.

I can conjugate the modal verb 'wollen'.

I can build a sentence with 'wollen' and another verb.

I can analyse a sentence and identify multiple places I can use a time phrase in it.

I can differentiate 'wollen' and 'möchten' in a socially appropriate way.

Resources:

Now is the perfect time to get started reviewing for the final.  Don't forget that we will still be adding 1.5 units worth of material before the end of the year, and if you wait until then to start reviewing things you saw nine months ago, life will get a bit uncomfortable for you.  In order to help you, I made you the following flashcard set of some of the testable vocabulary as a review. I recommend you do this multiple times over the next month and a half, in order to cement in some of the things you forgot you were supposed to know. The review vocab flashcards are from Quizlet instead of our other flashcard program, as there are more different ways you can practice them there.  I recommend doing them in different practice modes, so you are making sure to test your production and not just recognition.
